INGREDIENTS:
1 260g corned beef
½ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup all- purpose flour
1 egg
¼ cup celery stalks, chopped
½ tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1/2tsp.salt
¼ tsp. pepper
Oil for frying
CAESAR DRESSING:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 mustard
½ tsp. hot sauce
½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1-1/2 tsp. calamansi juice
1 tsp. anchovies
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
2 burger buns
Cooked bacon
PROCEDURE:
1. In a large bowl, combine corned beef, bread crumbs,
flour, egg and celery.
2. Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix
well.
3. Measure 1/3 cup of the burger mixture and form into
patties.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry burger patties over
medium heat until brown.
(Note patties may also be cooked over a charcoal grill)
5. Prepare Caesar dressing by whisking together in a
bowl the mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce,
Worcestershire sauce, calamansi juice, anchovies,garlic, parmesan cheese, salt
and pepper.
6. Toast burger buns and spread Caesar dressing on one
side.
7. Top with shredded lettuce, bacon, and burger patties.
8. Drizzle with more Caesar dressing if preferred.
9. Serve with fries or potato chips.
